This week I come up with some meals made from fresh and simple ingredients. My best choices are vegetables, pacific saury, soy sauce instead of using fish sauce, brown rice and kinds of fruit...I want to lose weight as fast as possible, but I'm not sure this way of cooking can bring any benefit and come out for good result. Today, I had to walk over 2km, went shopping in Maximark supermarket, then studied and catched many busses. What a tired day ! I just drunk 200ml milk ( 99% reduced fat ) for breakfast, then ate a half of an pileapple as snack, boiled vegetables and mushroom with soy sauce for lunch. In the evening, when coming home, my dinner was a half of the 150g pacific saury and vegetables which are steamed in microwave oven. The saury had been marinated with some curry powder, chopped garlic and salt a day before cooking. So delicious! Then I ate grapefruit bought from supermarket...Then I finished the day with 100g plain yogurt (no sugar)....
Tomorrow, I'm goring to make Takikomi gohan, a common dish in Japan which includes rice and other ingredients. After steaming, all of them are mixed together and become a great meal full of flavour!
Unusualy, I replace white rice by brown rice (just a half cup). The other ingredients are enoki mushroom, shimeji mushroom, chopped carrot, black beans, mung beans, red beans. I also use tamari sauce, rice wine, and mushroom bouillon. In Vietnam, it's hard to find Japanese sake and dashi with low price but high quality!
This dish is rich in fiber, vitamins, carbs and flavour!
